Our operations follow our Environmental protection strategy, according to which our priorities are fighting climate change, preserving biodiversity, waste management, materials and packaging. Thanks to our efforts in 2023, we reduced the use of plastic in our products by 829 tonnes.

The sustainability report of the Biedronka chain, has been published since 2020. The current report was prepared in accordance with the 2021 Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. The report was externally verified by an independent entity, SGS Polska Sp. z o.o., which covered 15 indicators.
